Network design since 2003 ExpertSoft (the software company from Kiev, Ukraine) has been developing revolutionary software product for network cabling (structured cabling) design automation.

By 2004 the first versions of it was released. Sales at Ukraine started and led to success. A little after that, an office of ExpertSoft was opened in Moscow and started sales to Russian Federation and other xUSSR countries.

At this moment, there more than 400 companies use CableProject CAD around this region. A number of reviews and recommendations for this product have been received. More than 20 network cabling vendors supported.

Network design - ExpertSoft

Starting from 2008 ExpertSoft developed localization of  CableProject CAD in English. Focusing on world markets and giving all professionals in network design ability to use a complex tool for network cabling design.

CableProject CAD is the network design software, which enables automation of all of Network cabling designing as an integral system. It contains an extended and updated component library which includes, in addition to a general classification listing, also design characteristics for all products. These features help to control the assembly and automatic connection of all project details incorporating vendor technological features.

The technology of this network design software permits visual development of projects rapidly and generates report documentation automatically.

The most significant features of CableProject CAD- the network design software are:

Graphical CAD interface
Complete functionality for planning initial architectural, geodesic and other plans. A previously prepared plan can be imported both with the standard vector exchange files (*.dxf, *.wmf, and other) or using a scanned file.

Intelligent network cabling designing subsystem
Design for any type of SCS (Structured Cabling Systems) in an initial plan. Work areas and racks (point elements) placement, routes and cable tracing (including autotracing), laying of conduits, distributing connections, forming floor-to-floor transitions and between building transitions. The subsystem for cabinet arrangements allows for the designing of distribution cabinets visually.

Component library
Component library in this kind of network design software assists in finding, arranging and placing subassemblies on the detailed layout. The loaded database includes a broad range of technical data and prices.

Project manager window
Enables easy navigation and correction of Network Cabling System designs. Allows forming projects with several nesting levels. Includes the connection configurator subsystem for connection checking and modifying generated within the project in the network cabling software.

Includes graphic documentation (plans and drafts), and text document (lists, specifications, log-books, etc.)
